St. Luke’s Lakeside Hospital Volunteer Services invites you to be an integral part of our community by contributing to the delivery of superior, high-quality acute care that is dedicated to excellence and compassion in caring for the whole person. What happens after I submit an application?

  • The Manager of Volunteer Services will contact you about your application. During this phone call she will schedule your personal interview, health screen and orientation.

  • Interview
    • Attend personal interview to determine placement options, availability and individual interests. 
    • Following the interview you will attend a health screen at the Employee Health Clinic. The health screen includes a volunteer health review and a tuberculosis (TB) test. The TB test must be read 2-3 days after the initial injection.
  • Orientation

  • Assignment and Training
    • Once all required documentation has been received, the volunteer will be scheduled for training in their assigned area.

Volunteer Opportunities

St. Luke’s Lakeside Hospital currently offers volunteer opportunities in four areas:

  • Guest Relations (7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.)
  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Nursing Unit
  • Surgery Waiting

Note: You do not need to apply more than once if you are interested in either St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital Volunteer Program or St. Luke’s Lakeside Hospital Volunteer Program. Both programs are run together and only one application will be reviewed.
